چکیده
Background: Intestinal adenosquamous carcinoma (ASC) is a rare malignancy. This study evaluated overall survival of this malignancy in the small intestine, colon, and rectum. Methods: Using Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results (SEER) 18 registry, we analyzed cases from 2000 through 2015 by Cox proportional hazards using univariate multivariate analysis, adjusting for age, primary tumor site, grade, type surgery performed to calculate hazard ratios survival. All analyses were on R version 4.0.5. Results: We identified 332 patients with ASC: intestine ( n = 20, 6.02%), colon 200, 60.2%) rectum 112, 33.7%). Age diagnosis was significantly different between groups: 44.5, 40, 36, rectum, respectively p < 0.05). The 5-year 5.0%, 24.9% 42.5%, 0.001). Based grade cancer at diagnosis, 61% 1, 39.9% 2, 25.9% 3/4 tumors, 24.1% tumors unknown significant difference 0.006). ratio poorly differentiated 3 3.17 times that well-differentiated (95% CI, 1.01–9.96, death without any surgical intervention 3.33 2.34–4.72, 0.001) compared who had surgery. Conclusion: There high rate advanced stages ASC, which associated poor outcomes. Patients underwent better outcomes when adjusted site tumor.
